Who We Are

OUR HISTORY

Founded by Patriarch O’Dell Lewis on July 1, 1992, The Music Man opened in the Kline Village Plaza, located in Harrisburg, PA. Circa 2000, his son’s Conrad and Craig Lewis, owners of Lewis Brothers, Inc, acquired the business. As one of the oldest black owned and operated businesses in the community, The Music Man provides a variety of music media, including CDs, tapes, and vinyl records. It also serves as an outlet for local artists to sell merchandise, promote, advertise and sell tickets for events.

After 28 years, on 9/1/2020, The Music Man relocated to 501 S 29th Street, Harrisburg, PA, and expanded it’s operations to include:

  • Big Diamond’s Vinyl Collection – Showcasing a timeless array of vinyl records
  • 1992 Graphix – Specializing promo apparel & print media
  • The Vision Room – Providing a space for seminars, meetings, art shows, “Pop Up” Shops, family oriented parties/events and much more
  • Music Man MultiMedia (MMM) – This is the primary addition to Music Man’s innovation new expansion.

Music Man Multimedia has transitioned into the digital space in an effort to continue the long legacy started in 1992.
